Kontech A/S has more than 20 years of experience as a professional supplier of complete balcony solutions for renovation projects and new builds. The company has 30 employees and an annual turnover of approximately DKK 70 million.

Structured sales process

Following a structured sales process with Business Broker the owners' exclusive advisor, the company has been sold to Balco AB. Kontech will thus become an independent part of the Balco Group, Scandinavia's leading balcony specialist.
Balco is particularly well known in the Danish market for balconies with glass enclosures and, like Kontech, is a total supplier of both traditional and customized balcony solutions. Customers are guided from sketch to finished project.
The main shareholder in Kontech A/S, Niels Jensen, has for some time wanted to reduce his workload in the company. In 2012, an external director was hired to ensure structure, growth, and value optimization immediately after a Business Review analysis conducted by Business Broker . Director Charlotte Lauritsen, together with Kontech's management team, has been in charge of day-to-day operations in recent years, and the management team will continue under the new regime.
